I have been babysitting since I was about 12 years old. I have 5 younger siblings who I have helped raise over the years and still continue to help now that I have left Home! I have a sister who is currently 6 years old who has a learning disability and she is easily my best friend. I have helped her learn many fundamental skills from learning how to brush her hair, tolieting, teaching her colors and numbers and slowly working on how to read! I’m a strong believer that every child needs at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day even if it’s just a stroll through the park, to get the body moving and keep the creativity alive! I have completed my undergrad in elementary education and have done internships in preschool, middle school and high school as well. So as far to being knowledgeable about the Read more different academic and social needs of each individual age group I have had the ability to see all of them in action, along with having brothers in sisters who are scattered throughout those ages as well. I’m currently going to school to obtain my Master’s in school counseling in hopes of being able to ge a different view of the spectrum.
