I worked for Sylvan Learning Center for 5 years supporting the teachers and teaching children from ages 4 to 16. I now have 2 children of my own who will be in First Grade and Kindergarten this Fall. I am a personal trainer and living a healthy lifestyle is important in our family. We love the outdoors and exploring the woods together. I believe children learn best while playing so we do many activities to encourage this. While walking in the woods we will collect "signs" of the changing seasons or do a nature scavenger hunt. We love arts and crafts so practicing letters and numbers is easy while painting, drawing, or coloring. I encourage a sense of independence as well a sense of curiosity about the world around us. And I will care for your child as my own. I am child and adult CPR and First Aid Certified. Rates can be flexible as I can provide healthy meals for your child. Even if you are looking for a couple of hours to yourself and would like your child to be well cared for and have the companionship of other children, I am available.
