When I was in 7th grade, I took a two-day babysitting certification course at South Shore Hospital! I learned how to do CPR on babies and children. Throughout high school I gained a lot of babysitting experience by babysitting a close family friend's children. The times that I did, I was babysitting them for 8 hours at a time. I grew a close relationship with them and they still talk about me to this day! I also used to babysit my cousins. I am a very conscious babysitter. I love children and I have great parents who have taught me how to parent well (even though I am not a parent yet). I am a fair person when it comes to punishing the kids. I have a good temper and pride myself on trying to explain to the kids what they did wrong rather than simply punishing them for no Read more reason. I think kids are wonderful and a lot smarter than people put them out to be. They are fascinating little human beings for sure and I love to work with them! I am also a full time psychology student at Salem State University so most of the time I am only available for afternoon and nights.
