My name is Molly, and I am a current graduate student. I am an experienced teacher and caregiver, am one of four children, have a niece and nephew, and am ready to provide homework help/tutoring and engage in creative activities both inside and outside. I love working with children! I am a big advocate of experiential learning, and it is a pleasure to help children discover the world in healthy and productive ways. In turn, they offer us adults a fresh perspective on life. I have taught, tutored, and cared for children between the ages of two and 18 since I was a high school student through various community organizations and volunteer programs. Most recently, I volunteered in a first-grade classroom in a magnet school serving children of diverse socioeconomic and racial and ethnic backgrounds. Prior to that, I taught English as a Foreign Language to children in grades 3 Read more - 12 as a Peace Corps Volunteer in a rural mountain village. I introduced creative writing, literature modules, a library, and cross-cultural exchange programs to the mountain school district. I also regularly cared for small children between infancy and seven years of age. As an undergraduate student, I volunteer-taught and tutored middle school and high school-aged children of recent immigrant families in English as a Second Language and provided math and science homework help. While a high school student, I babysat for families of two to three children and also volunteer tutored students in after-school homework-help programs in both suburban and urban neighborhoods.
