Hi there! My name is Maria and I am a licensed elementary school and special education teacher with a masters degree and over a decade of experience caring for children of all ages and with a wide range of needs, abilities, and interests. I bring with me an unmatched skill for building connections, over a decade of foreign language study, and years of research experience into infant and child development (ask me about your baby's sense of quantity!). I have worked as a babysitter and teacher for children with Down syndrome, Autism, and physical disabilities, currently teach special education in elementary school, and have previously been an infant, toddler, and preschool teacher in MA, where I got my ECE certification in 2018. After a year of virtual learning, I am looking to offer my skills caring for little ones as families begin to go back out into the world. I Read more am currently looking for occasional jobs, but would be willing to discuss more regular positions for July.
