I am a mom to three grown children who was a stay at home mom for 16 years while my own children were growing up. When my children were young, I would also babysit my friends' children on a regular basis while they worked and I volunteered a lot in the Stoughton schools over the 18 years when they were in school. When I did go back to work, I worked for 6 year as an Assistant to a Financial Planner. In Jan of 2014, because of health issues with my elderly parents, I left my job so I could help them. During this time I babysat once or twice a week for my then 10 month old nephew. Then for 4 months I babysat 2 days a week for a 1 year old. It was a wonderful experience and made me realize how much I missed caring for children. Read more For the 2014-2015 school year, I was a full time nanny for a little boy from the time he was 9 months to a year and half. In December 2015 to August 2016 I was a full time nanny, caring for a 4 month old little girl, 3 days a week, 10 hours a day. In September 2016, I went back to caring for the little boy I had taken care of in the 2014-2015 school year. I care for him now full time, 45-50 hours per week. Throughout all of the positions, to keep the moms informed, I kept detailed logs of the day with nap times, bottle times and when baby food/table food was introduced, those items, amounts and times as well. In my positions, I have been responsible for all aspects of caring for the infant/toddler with safety and making sure the child is happy and cared about being the most important. In addition I will perform light housekeeping, emptying the dishwasher, washing, folding and putting away the children's clothes, washing bottles etc. With all these young children, I enjoyed the time we spend together and teaching them and seeing them experience new things. We have so much fun together playing, reading books, taking walks to the park, and going to the library. We have especially enjoyed the Blue Hills trail side museum visiting the animals, playgrounds and story hours at the local libraries. I feel it is important for children to interact with others their own age and these activities provide the opportunity to do so. I have an excellent driving record and I am flexible with hours/days for the families benefit.
