I have been babysitting for 10+ years. I started babysitting when I was 11 for my neighbors that lived up the street from me. At the time their kids were 2 and 5 years old. I babysat these kids until they were 9 and 13. I stopped babysitting for this family the summer of 2012. I have worked with children from all different ages and even babysat a boy with a heart condition for six years. At first I would help her out by watching him so she could take naps or if she wanted to go out (i. e. to the grocery store or to the gym, etc). His parents didn't want to leave him alone for long periods of time as they worried for him. As he got older I watched him for longer periods of time. I even house sat and dog-sat for this family. I have Read more worked with triples and babies who were still in diapers. I also worked at the YMCA with 3-4 and 5-6-year-olds, one 6-year-old was completely deaf in one ear. I also worked with a 6-year-old who had ADD, ADHD, and Asperger's. This child also had severe allergies to all milk products, beef, pork, and bee stings. I have helped my cousin with her two kids and my other cousin when she gave birth to triplets. I love to swim and play outside and to do arts and crafts. But for rainy days and late nights I also know how to have fun without your kids being stuck in front of a TV the whole time. I can do laundry and light housework ranging from dishes to dusting to picking up after the kids and folding any stray laundry. If needed I can also make snacks and cook light meals for the children. I have my own car and I have never gotten into an accident and I have never gotten a speeding ticket. I love animals and have 2 cats and a dog myself, so looking after animals is no problem for me. I have house sat and dog/animal sat before so I can take animals out for walks and look after them if needed. Evening care is perfect for me, and I can stay late on Friday and Saturday nights or even stay the night if that is needed. I am also in the middle of getting re-certified for CPR and First Aid as my certification recently ran out. Thank you.
