Hello, My name is Violette. I am the proud mother of three grown children ages 25, 21, and soon to be 20! I am also expecting my first grandchild this fall. I moved here last June from New Jersey with my family and am available this summer for any childcare positions. Before the move, I had just finished my tenth year working in the school system as a special education aide. I have specifically worked with children from ages 6-14 in various grade levels. I have experience working with children who have Aspergers Syndrome and ADD. My son also has Aspergers Syndrome and ADD so I have personal experience with these as well. Specifically with in home childcare, I was a stay at home mom for ten years and my home would be open to children of neighbors and friends. They were close in age with my children at the Read more time and I would put everyone on the bus in the morning and get them off the bus in the afternoon where they would all come in for snacks and enjoy play until their parents were done working. Also on snow days and holidays, I would care for them all day. I also have experience with a family friend. I have often cared for her daughter since she was four months old and now she will soon be six. My availability is flexible and I have a car for transportation. I am non-smoker and am comfortable with pets if you have any because my family has had every pet you could think of!
