My name is April and I have worked with children in many settings for twenty years. This is not a job for me, but a passion. I love what I do and desire the personalized care and interactions that a nanny position would provide. I live in Wakefield where I grew up and love its quiet safe town atmospere. I am EEC certified up through and including Director and specialize in Infant/toddler care. My first aid and CPR are current and I hold an Associates Degree in science, Early Childhood Education, minoring in Psychology. I love to keep children busy with outdoor activities, arts and crafts, books and song, and do not believe in extended TV time. I also feel that a solid nurturing relationship with caregivers is highly important to a child's wellbeing, and do my best to provide this while being open to parents needs as well.
