My name is Sara. I am 19 years old and I am currently a sophomore at a great University where I am studying Economics. I've been babysitting/nannying for the past 6 years. I got my first babysitting job for my neighbor. I worked with her 6 year old daughter and continued caring for her for many years. In that time she had another daughter so I gained experience with a broad number of ages during that time. I've been trained in First Aid and CPR. I spent the last couple of summers at a day camp caring for toddlers as well as a program for 6th grade kids who needed a little extra help before the school year. I spent last July in Barcelona working as an Au Pair for an adorable 4 year old girl. It was an amazing experience. I am comfortable and competent at caring for multiple Read more children at once because of my experience working as a counselor for a large number of children. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and watching them learn and grow. I love being a part of such important years of their lives. I am naturally a very nurturing and loving person which is what makes me a pleasant babysitter/nanny. I am quite aware of the responsibility I have when taking care of a child and their safety would always be my number one priority. My other priorities would be making sure that your children are comfortable, happy, and productive. I would be very comfortable cooking, I am actually quite good with fun children meals! I am fine with doing light housekeeping including some laundry. Arts and Crafts are one of my favorite things to do with kids. It would be my pleasure to prepare fun crafty activities to entertain your children. I can definitely help out with homework and even do some tutoring. I am comfortable with pets.

Sara watched our 11-month-old for two nights in our hotel room while we were in town on vacation. She was wonderful. Our son took to her right away and as we left it was clear they were having a great time. She played with him, read to him, fed him (food and bottle), and put him to bed. We were nervous about leaving him with a new person in an unfamiliar place, so she obligingly updated us to let us know that he was asleep. And when someone from the hotel mistakenly rang the doorbell and woke our son up on the second night, she handled the crying baby with aplomb, rocking and soothing him until we got home. She was very professional and organized throughout. We'd highly recommend her!
