I have been a mother for 17 years and babysitter for 20 years. I have two children ages 17 & 14. For many years I was a stay at home mom and babysitter during the day and worked nights as well. I have watched children of all ages from newborns to teens. I like to keep kids active and educated. I think kids do better with structure and routine. I enjoy helping with homework, doing crafts, reading, and outdoor play. I prefer to limit t.v and video game time and encourage staying active and using the imagination. I do prefer to watch children in my home so that I can still be there for my own children and family. I have plenty of play space and yard space. We have a nice park within walking distance and a pond on my street for summertime swimming.
