I am look for occasional babysitting jobs throughout the summer before I attend medical school in the fall. I have a variety of experience working with children in many different environments. -I have been babysitting for over 10 years for children 18 months - 16- years- old. -I worked as an overnight camp counselor at a YMCA Camp in NH for 4 years. I was responsible for a cabin of 8 -14 campers, in addition to teaching swimming lessons. -During college I worked with two mentor groups. One was targeted at cultivating a respect for the outdoors as an environment to enjoy and protect. The other was with children from a bilingual, immigrant community where I tutored them and encouraged pursuit of higher education. I love working with kids, and am an animal person as well. I am willing to work with children of all ages, and a variety of Read more needs (happy to work with children with physical and developmental disabilities, diabetes, etc). I am happy to prepare meals, do activities outside of the house (i. e. go to the park, the zoo, etc) and help with homework. I love the outdoors, arts and crafts, and playing games with kids. I was EMT and CPR certified, though both have recently expired.
