Hello and thank you for considering me as a care provider! I am currently employed full time doing chronic pain neuroimaging research at Mass General Hospital, however, my true passion is working with children. My plan is to move on to complete a graduate degree in childhood or developmental psychology, with an emphasis in expressive therapies. Currently, I am looking for weekend or evening childcare care opportunities that I can fulfill in conjunction with my full-time work. I am open to positions that are regularly scheduled and occasional. I have a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Simmons College. I also completed a significant amount of coursework in early childhood education, and meet the requirements for the EEC lead teacher certification, having also spent 2 years teaching in a preschool with children ages 6 months-5 years. I especially enjoy working with children who have special emotional or behavioral needs, Read more and I have experience working with Board Certified Behavioral Analysts to implement behavioral plans. In total, I have over 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents of varying ages and abilities. I started off babysitting, and since then I have worked as a preschool teacher, a direct support professional, and as a coach for children with special needs. I am comfortable preparing meals, completing household tasks, and caring for children with varying psychological and medical needs. Please feel free to reach out to me if you think I may be a good fit for your needs. I will do my best to respond within 24 hours of receiving your message. Please note, while I do not currently own my own car, I do have a valid license and access to a vehicle, if needed. I am more than happy to provide my recent resume, references, and submit to background checks upon request. To respect the confidentiality of previous clients, I do not post references publicly on this site. However, I am more than happy to provide them, once I request their permission to provide you with their contact information.

Courtney is amazing! Not only can she keep up with our highly energetic kid, but she played so well with him that he was disappointed when we, his parents, returned home. That's never happened before. She's prompt and responsive and we can't wait for her to come back!

Courtney is so wonderful. This was the second time she sat for us (I looked for her!) and my almost three year old ran up and gave her a huge hug when she saw her. That says it all for me.

We love Courtney so much that we try to schedule our date nights around her schedule! She is so sweet and kind to our 1.5 year old daughter and she always goes the extra mile to tidy up before we get home. Courtney is a real sweetheart and we're afraid she will get booked by too many people and not have enough time for us -- she has definitely been our favorite out of our 9 bookings so far and would recommend her to everyone!!

Courtney was punctual, friendly, attentive and great with kids. Our 16-month old son took to her within minutes and enjoyed playing with her. She did a great job of taking him through his bedtime routine and we'll definitely be booking her again!
