I knew I had found a passion for working with children as soon as I started babysitting at the young age of 14. It started as taking a simple babysitting course and CPR class that allowed me to get my first few jobs to becoming a nanny for a family with 4 young children. After going to college and obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, with several courses focusing on child development, i continued my passion by becoming a tutor. Having been a peer tutor before while in middle and high school, the teaching aspect came naturally, along with working with the children outside of the classroom and as volunteer in the after school program. While in college, I also worked for two local families, assisting them in a variety of needs, from simple chid care to driving the children to appointments/school, to prepping dinner and everything in between! Read more I currently work as medical scribe in the emergency room and have recently applied to PA school, so I am looking to earn extra money in the one way I have always found rewarding, child care.
