Hello. I'd love the opportunity to create a loving and nurturing environment for your baby. I haven't used care.com much as most of the work I've done has been for families I knew directly but it seems a useful tool in making that initial connection. I worked at a public preschool program for more than seven years, but my true passion is infants. I am 30 and have had the incredibly rewarding experience of caring for infants one-on-one in my home for the past few years. As a daughter of a bookstore owner, I love reading to little ones or just singing as a way to narrate our experiences. Having studied psychology (with a focus on infants/children) in college, I believe play is the brain' s favorite way to learn. All that learning and exploring is hard work though so when they are tired I like to provide extra cuddles Read more and hold infants while they nap. I cannot do full time and prefer to care for infants in my home but provided you don't have cats (I'm allergic) it might be possible for me to come to you.
