Hello there! My name is Vanessa and I recently moved from Florida to Brooklyn and am working in the city. Before graduating from college, I was an avid babysitter and camp counselor in Florida. Since the age of 14 I have been taking care of kids of all ages, and loving every minute! Now that I am graduated, my full time job has unfortunately molded into something more suited for my long-term career goals, but I miss the environment of child care constantly. With nights and weekends available, I would like to incorporate babysitting once again. My summer camp kids were from the ages of 4-9 and I usually had about 20 or 30 in my care at once. However, I have also had plenty of experience with infants and some children up to middle-school. I am CPR and First Aid certified (required in Florida for camp counselors) and have Read more had experience with emergency situations. I have also been raised with an Uncle with special needs and have taken care of children with special needs and am therefore very comfortable with such situations.
