I first got into childcare as a camp counselor for a camp I had gone to as a child. And my love for working with kids has only grown since. This previous summer I was a camp counselor at a sports and games camp, supervising children ages 6-12 in a variety of sports, arts, games, and craft activities. I have also been employed as a baby sitter and mom-helper to two separate families with 2-year-old daughters. We had a lot of fun singing, dancing, playing games of tea party and egg hunts and reading lots of books. I am more than willing to help with clean-up and I often encourage kids to clean as we play. Since my first year in college I have been a part of a program called All Kinds Of Girls, a mentoring program for girls from Worcester ages 9-15. I am currently employed by the Worcester Chamber Music Society as a music educator for their program Neighborhood Strings. In this program I teach private and group lessons, as well as participating in a group orchestra for kids ages 8-15.
