I am devoted to child care because it gives me the opportunity to interact with our youth and provide guidance for the time that I am with them. I have always been passionate about working in childcare and academic environments. I started my career in childcare at Annapolis Senior High School (Annapolis,Md) participating in their Child Development program working with Pre-K level students. While in this program I learned the importance of child growth studying behavior patterns and the brains progress, while also focusing on interactive skills such as painting, reading and strength and mobility games. I then continued my child care career working with the Boys & Girls Club of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County with children ranging in age from 5-18. During my career with this after care program I gained skills working through the mentoring programs they offered giving me the chance to mentor a child, also Read more participating in the homework, reading and life lessons programs. I enjoyed my time with the Boys & Girls Club gaining much needed knowledge for children of all ages. I now nanny for families all over.
