For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed working with children. I am currently working as an Elementary School Teacher in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Last year, as a Special Education teacher, I taught Kindergarten, 4th and 5th grade. This year I am teaching kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. I am a Special Education teacher but work with children in general education as well as with students with disabilities. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education my Master of Science in Childhood Literacy. I have graduate level experience providing one-on-one reading instruction to struggling readers. In addition to teaching, I have worked extensively with children as a camp counselor for disadvantaged youth from across New York State. I have also coached girls, ages 7 through 18, at numerous softball clinics.
