I've been babysitting since I was thirteen. I babysat for ages newborn through 6 years old weekly throughout high school. I cared for a newborn for two summers in 2009 and 2010. I'm one of four children, each one year apart. I helped care for my younger siblings and I had wonderful babysitters growing up. After graduating from Amherst College in 2011, I worked for Operation Smile as a program coordinator. I traveled to Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, the Philippines, Vietnam and Nepal coordinating surgical programs for children with cleft lips and cleft palates. I became BLS certified for my position. I'm currently doing research at Johns Hopkins Bayview and applying to medical school. I lived in Towson, MD, last year while attending the Goucher College Premed Post-bac program, so am familiar with the Baltimore area.
