I started caring for infants at age 9 under the supervision of mentors at the Agape House. The Agape House is an inner Baltimore City program through which young people (mostly students) can reach out and care for children of all ages. I volunteered at the Agape house every summer for ten years. As I got older, I began taking care of older children and became a classroom leader, where I managed classrooms of 15 or more children. I also volunteered in my church nursery for a few years. I have been casually babysitting here and there since then, and I am interested in making a part time job of being a scheduled babysitter for a lovely family.
