Hello! My name is Kiara, I am a Junior in college majoring in Elementary Education. When I saw the opportunity to work with kids through Care. com, I grew extremely excited. I have worked with children for as long as I can remember both formally and informally. I started babysitting when I was about 13 years old, some children were family and other weren't. However, considering I am the older sister of two, you could call me a full time babysitter. Other than these experiences I have worked in many schools ranging from elementary to high school working, tutoring and mentoring children. I currently work full time as a paraprofessional at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD.I love being able to provide children comfort in the absence of their parents. I'm not there to just watch your child and feed them but to create a bond and have fun.
