Hello! My name is Michela and I am originally from St. Louis. I received my degree in Early Childhood Education and my early childhood teaching license in Chicago. I moved to Baltimore two years ago and started working at a low income school through Teach for America. I'm finishing up my second year teaching Pre-K and I couldn't love my job more! I have been working with children in a variety of contexts for 10 years now. I've had experience working as a full time nanny, a part time or as needed babysitter, in church nurseries, and in the classroom. I've had the pleasure of working with many families and a large variety of children, all with their own specific needs and rules as a family. I'm more than comfortable with multiple children, infants, and children with special needs. Overall I am experienced, nurturing, knowledgeable, and committed to the children Read more I watch and to their families. I love that children have an innate desire to learn and be active so I like to encourage that through making crafts, reading, going on walks, playing make believe, and just being engaged with them. I've found that I quickly come to deeply care for the children I nanny, babysit, and teach for.
