Sharon’s Bio

Hi,

I was a child care worker for 12 and a half years at a group home. The residents were between the ages of 8 and 15 years old. I monitored the boys while on shift. I communicated with the social worker and staff. Any incidents were documented and discussed at the monthly meetings. I enjoyed working with the residents. Upon embarking on private child care services, I had the pleasure to care for newborn twins. I had a lot of fun with the infants as they got older, especially as they became very close to me and would smile and laugh as soon as they saw me in the morning. This made me feel great! I also have four grandchildren with whom I enjoy interacting with ranging from 7-14 years of age. I enjoy caring for people in general, and I have a passion for doing so!

We had Sharon's assistance for 4 months, helping three days per week with our newborn twins. I can tell anyone, unequivocally, that you would be incredibly fortunate to have Sharon's help. She is incredibly helpful, dependable, and conscientious. She is gentle, careful and very good with our children, and they clearly love her. (By the second month, they started smiling when they saw her come in each morning.) Just generally, she is very nice to be around. With just a little notice, she has been willing to stay late on those few days when we've needed her to -- and she does it (and everything) with a wonderfully positive attitude. On top of that, immediately upon beginning with us, she started handling some extra chores (like our dishes in the sink, and the girls' laundry) without us even asking. If we could take her with us when we move back to Cincinnati, we would.
