I enjoy working with children of all ages and have a variety of experience when caring for them. Coming from a big family, I really enjoyed interacting with kid. I also learned early how to cater to the needs of infants and toddlers. I then completed two years of Child Development classes in high school and received a Teacher Academy of Maryland (TAM) certificate. In my first year of the course, I cared for toddler aged 3-5 and spent each class teaching them basic tools to prepare them for preschool and kindergarten. In my second year, I aided at a local middle school where I would often substitute for teaching assistants and help the students with class material. It touches me to know that I have the ability to affect young lives in a positive way and I would love to continue to care for them.
