I am an energetic, fun, and caring 22 year old who loves working with children. I graduated from High Point University in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Many of my studies centered around developmental psychology (early childhood development to adulthood) and cognitive psychology. I recognize the impact childhood experiences have on how we grow as individuals and know the importance of turning growing pains into positive learning experiences. I have experience as a nanny, babysitter, Sunday School TA, 3rd grade TA, and tennis/sports camp counselor. I also have experience as a program development volunteer with Girls Up, which is a camp for middle school girls focused around the harmful effects of bullying and what we can do to stop them. I am extremely active and would want to get the children outside as much as possible. I was a junior tennis pro and taught tennis for Read more three years during high school (ages 3 to 15), so I would love to use tennis as a fun outdoor activity. I learned to supervise up to ten children at once during my time as a camp counselor, so I am completely comfortable with the children having friends over for play dates. I am a huge animal lover and have no issues with any type of pets. If you have a dog, I would be happy to walk him/her daily.
