I am an American University Graduate with a B.A. in Public Relations and Strategic Communications, and a Minor in Marketing. Though I have experience in that field, I have always enjoyed working with kids. I have had a little over 7 years of childcare experience, and I have worked with children of both genders, ranging from all ages. I have experience with infants and toddlers, Elementary, and even High School kids. I have a clean driving record, my own car, and have been driving kids for 5 years. Aside from babysitting, I have had experience with teaching and tutoring. I am fluent in Arabic, and I have been teaching Arabic(both privately and in a classroom) since 2010. While teaching at the Abjadiyah Arabic Language Workshop, I Direct class consisting of children from ages 3 to 5. I have also had years of experience with after school mentoring and private tutoring. Read more My best subjects are English (Reading, Spelling, Grammar, and Essay Writing) and Math (Multiplication, Long Division, Algebra, Geometry, and even Calculus!). I love children and I truly enjoy keeping them company and watching them flourish. I have worked with children of all sorts, be it their age, gender, race, ethnicity, or personality, and I have had no problem developing bonds with any of them. My philosophy is to simply give attention to and show interest in every child that I work with. Most importantly, I not only see myself as a caretaker, but a mentor. Being a part of a child's essential years of development is a responsibility, and I am well aware of the inevitable influence one has when it comes to shaping a child at this time.
