Hello my name is Andrea Lucas, I just moved to Ocean View Delaware within the past few months. I have just received a Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies; Concentration in Education from Radford Univiersity. For the first 5 months of the year I was a student teacher with a first grade class, the last 5 months I was with 4th graders. My responsibilities included planning engaging lessons, leading parent teach conferences, substituting, teaching all subjects, leading small groups, and working with students with special needs.I have 983 hours of classroom experience and of those hours I spent 356 hours teaching. I volunteered 100 hours at Beans and Rice, Inc. in Radford, VA. This program is designed to help low-income children after school with their studies.
