With a lot of younger cousins and family friends, I have had a lot of babysitting experience. I am what you could call a family babysitter. I baby sit for a lot of family members and friends of the family. Kids and I get along very well. I have babysat for children from the ages of 4 to 16. I am currently a Sophomore Mechanical Engineering major at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. I excel in math and science but am good in other subjects as well. I enjoy tutoring kids and helping them with homework. I guess you could say that I have a inner teacher mode. Even at college now I tutor my fellow peers in the subjects of mathematics, English, and biology. With my leadership skills I am always able to maintain a civil environment but also make sure that the kids have fun. I'm Read more an enforcer of rules and even with that said I and the kids always get along very well. That was all proven when i worked for Morgan State University Upward Bound during the summer of 2013. I am a former student of the Upward Bound Program and to be able to return as a teen counselor was great. I helped the students during the day with academics, supervised free time, and enforced curfew. That experience really helped me develop a thinking process of kids younger than me as well as how to help them grow. I will be returning to that job for the 2014 summer as well. I'm all about providing a quality service by educating, being enthusiastic, and engaging myself and the kids in productive activities.
