Hello. My name is Krystal. Some people are great with animals, well I'm great with kids. I currently work as a substitute teacher in Somerset County where I work with all ages from Pre-K to 12th grade. My preference is to care for/teach kids in elementary school as they are more playful and excited about life! In addition to substitute teaching I work as a Home and Hospital tutor to help sick children, who cannot be at school, continue to receive education as they get treatment. In the year 2018 I've been helping a 9th grader with Leukemia stay on top of his work as he endured aggressive chemo treatments. This job required me to be sensitive to his family's need while completing his curriculum. Also, I have an intensive background in Theater Performance making me very animated while working with kids. During my experiences in Theater and during a Read more 3 month substituting assignment as a PE teacher I learned plenty of exercises and games that I can play with kids when they need to be occupied and/or get some energy out! Lastly, as you'll see on my resume, I have an extensive background in corporate environments with Facilities Management. To be successful in a corporate environment I utilized my organization and communication skills to be professional and dependable at all times. I hope to work with a family this summer that is a good fit for the both of us. I look forward to speaking with you.
