I have had the privilege to be a caregiver for the past 11 years. From 2003-2007, I cared for a baby. I began caring for him at the age of 6 months. When I started caring for him, my daily routine usually consisted of preparing bottles, going on walks, changing diapers and putting him down for naps. As he began to grow, I often played games with him, took him to the park, made several arts and craft projects and prepared his meals. Through those years, I was able to build a great relationship with his family. They moved to Bowie which terminated my care for him. From 2007- 2014, I cared for twins. My daily routine in their household included preparing breakfast, walking the children to school, taking them to their respective after school programs, and helping them with homework and school assignments. Unfortunately, in December 2013, the father Read more of the twins passed away unexpectedly. Shortly after, the family moved back to their native country of Sudan. Much like being a teacher or a parent, I see myself as a role model to children and enjoy being such an important person in their lives.Babysitting is something i love doing because everyday is different and new.It's amazing being part of child learning and growing as a person.
