Hi! I am currently a senior, attending the Nursing Program at Towson University! I am 21 years old and was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. I grew up surrounded by a huge family, so having a loving and caring for my family is one of my greatest values. All of my life I have been a very motivated and compassionate individual, always striving for the best in myself and in others around me. I have always had a deep passion caring for children, for I have babysat for different families and have cared for children of all ages for a total of 9 years now. I have obtained various jobs all through out high school and college where I have directly provided giving care for children. For instance, in the past, I have been a babysitter, a life guard, a swimming instructor, volunteer at a nursing home, a certified Read more nurse, a tech nurse at various hospitals around the Baltimore area (I went into further detail about my clinical/ hospital experience on the experience page). As for training and other certifications, I have been CPR certified with American Red Cross Association a total of 5 times now. I also reieceved my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistance) my senior year in high school, so I have had clinical experience, caring for others very early on in my career. Through out college, not only have I maintained an exceptional GPA, but I have managed to be a very active member amongst Towson's student life. I have been a member of various clubs and organizations such as Kappa Delta Sorority and Helping Honduras. Once I graduate this upcoming Spring with my BSN and become a Registered Nurse, I am wishing to join the Navy as a Nursing Officer to go and work in Hospitals across the Nation, on different Pediatric Units. My passion in caring for children I believe is one of my greatest purposes in life and I will show your children the upmost care, compassion and respect that they deserve. I value providing the highest care possible, all while enjoying the processes and allowing your kids to have fun, learn and grow to their fullest potential.
