Melissa reached out to me in respond to a job posting I put on the site. After a couple messages back and forth, we scheduled her to come look after our son Sunday morning. To our disappointment, come Sunday, not only did Melissa not show up, but we received no correspondence from her either before or after the scheduled time. No cancellation prior to the appointment, and even after we contacted her asking her for her status, to date, she has still not responded as to why she decided to simply not show up. To me, it's pretty egregious to simply not show up to an agreed upon appointment without any explanation at all, including ignoring all follow ups. Dependability is one of the most important aspects of being a babysitter, and this was certainly not a good demonstation of that.
