Growing up with an autistic younger brother has greatly strengthened my patience and understanding for individuals of all personalities and interests. Throughout high school I was fortunate enough to be apart of Best Buddies. Best Buddies is a mentorship organization which encourages bonds and friendships between students with special needs and individuals such as myself seeking to make a difference in a childs life for the better. I am currently a Junior Biology major, chemistry minor, pre-med with aspirations to someday become a pediatrician. I am a work study intern for Howard Universities Sickle cell research and develoment department. I am well organized, dependable, and responsible. With all this being said I am also a considerable amount of fun. I love outdoor activities as well as indoor fun. From videogames, to sports, and back inside for a fort and a good nights sleep. Interracting with my little brother and his Read more friends while growing up has greatly increased my awareness and ability to multitask under diverse conditions.
