I have nine years of child care experience which includes large childcare settings and small at-home settings. While in college, I was a Children's Ministry Intern at Central Baptist Church in College Station, Texas for two years. At Central Baptist, I led Bible studies and provided childcare for Kindergarten through fifth graders on a weekly basis. More recently, I taught Pre-K at Covenant Presbyterian Daycare for four months until my husband and I moved to Maryland for his new job. I have a bachelor's degree from Texas A & M University where I studied Youth Development. Within my major and my experience with children, I have learned how to promote and encourage positive growth in youth, which extends far beyond general childcare. I am First Aid, CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association.
