Hello my name is Nydra Moore and I am a 25 year old college graduate from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am originally from Charlotte, NC but I moved to the Washington, DC area about a year and a half ago. I have about 2 years or more babysitting and working with children. In the past I have worked at a local YMCA with the after and before school staff. I worked with all different age groups from kindergarten all the way up to high school. Most recently before I relocated to Washington, DC I cared for my nephew who is now 3.5 years old. I did a variety of things such as picked him up and dropped him off from daycare, monitored his food because he is allergic to peanuts and seafood, went over different learning activities, took him to different children's museums, fixed his dinner Read more that my sister left for him, got him ready for school and bed for the next day. My First Aid and CPR certifications have expired however I am in the process of finding out where I can take a class to renew. Overall, I love working and caring for children because, children are important and they need individuals that will help them grow and mature into the right person that they will eventually become in the future. Throughout college and even now I continue to volunteer and mentor children because it makes me feel honored and I enjoy doing it.
