I work at a daycare as a substitute care taker but will be starting as a full time care taker in the summer. In the past I pretty much raised a family friends child due to them working late hours and shift work. My major in college is secondary education and I start my field training, hopefully at bayview elementary, this coming semester. I am a member of the Maryland 4h program and the junior fair board so I've had experience thinking of fun educational activities for children at the fair. I am fluent in English and have a substantial knowledge of the Spanish language and history so a language barrier would not be a problem. In addition a close family friend has 11 children so I am no stranger to the craziness that comes with caring for multiple children.
