I became a caregiver when I was about 5 years old. My youngest brother was born with down syndrome and ever since I helped my mom with raising him. When I was 13 I decided I wanted to be mother's helper. I would go over to say-at-home mothers' houses and entertain the kids while their mom (or dad) got some work done around the house. After about a year I started babysitting families kids until I got a restaurant job 5 months after my 15th birthday. I still love kids and always will. Every time I come home from school to visit my family, I go across the street to visit the 3 kiddos and their parents too.
