Since coming to the United States eight years ago, I have gained US citizenship and have worked in geriatric care gaining certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, in First Aid & CPR. Back home in my country of Cameroon, I took care of children of all ages. I am also an involved parent of my own five children ranging in age from 3 years old to 23 years old. November 12, 2013 I completed a background check with Global Ingestigative Services and am able to provide the notarized report upon request. While caring for the elderly, I missed working with the youth. I thrive on their energy and creativity. I love to watch them learn, I enjoy taking them out to play, and to share stories and read books. I realize the importance of discipline and am willing to enforace whatever rules exist in the household. This last year, I Read more have been caring for others children in my house. I find caring for them to be my calling and would like to focus my career more on the youth than the elderly. I would like to get out of the house and work with more families and build a strong, trusting relationship with those families.
