I am a recent alumnae of the University of Delaware. This past spring, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and Political Science. I am now enrolled in a graduate program. I began my graduate degree as a sophomore at the University of Delaware. I will graduate in the spring of 2015 with a Master of Public Administration degree. While an undergraduate student, I babysat for several families with children ranging in age from several months old to middle school age. I babysat for these families consistently for several years. These families had both boys and girls. Furthermore, I have experience babysitting children with a range of special needs. Concurrently, I interned in the business management office of charter school in Delaware. While in this position, I coached a transformational learning program for 8 to 13 year-old girls (Girls on the Run). This experience had the most Read more significant influence in shaping my professional aspirations. I have extensive experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Delaware, also.My research focused on Asset-Based Community Development. Furthermore, I have worked for several non-profit organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters. I volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters as a student mentor, as well. These experiences were enriched by an internship with Congressman John Carney of Delaware.
