Hello, my name is Zoey L Shields, I stay in Upper Marlboro Maryland. I'm 21 years of age, and will turn 22 in the Month of May. I attended Frederick Douglass high school in 2010 and did my 4 years with honor. I received my graduation diploma in 2014 and attended an online University afterwards. Yes, I do have my own transportation, so you wouldn't have to worry about me finding a ride or being late to work. I have babysit a 6 month year old for a couple of months in a daycare. The facility her son was in closed at 12pm. She needed me to work the hrs from 1pm to 6pm everyday. That's was the time she got off work. What's good about this job the daycare facility was right next door to her office so I was able to stay in the daycare unit with her Read more son until it was time for us to depart. I worked with this wonderful mother until she no longer needed my assistance. The next task I moved on to was picking up two 13 years old from school, and a 6 year old from her after school day care and bringing them home safe to their family's, while their older sister was away in college. I did this until their mom received a better job with a awesome time schedule were she was able to pick up her kids on time from school and daycare. I also went to parent teacher conferences when the mother was unable to go, because she was either stuck in traffic or behind with work. I stop doing babysitting for sometime and got a fulltime job which took up majority of my day. The reason Why I would be a best fit for this job is because I love the feeling of being part as a family. Teaching the little kids something new. Making sure they are safe and their happy and feel loved (even if their getting it from home or not!) Kids are special and unique in their own character. You have to know which way to guide them and talk to each individual. Not all kids are the same. However if you have the patience and the techniques to help them, they can accomplish anything. I'm 7 months pregnant and very happy. I'm Friendly, easy to talk to, and well understanding. The same patience I will have with my son is the same patience im going to have with other parents children's. Thank you hope to you from you soon.
