I have been a nanny and a babysitter on and off since 2008. Working with several families and in different capacities I have become quite good at adapting to the specific needs of the family I am working with. During my 4 years at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, ME, I travelled to Ethiopia where I lived at and worked for an orphanage developing and implementing a summer program geared to advance English language comprehension, computer skills and creative expression for the orphans. Also at COA I was a Resident Advisor for two years and developed programs for on-campus students, particularly freshman new to the college environment. Office assistant in the day-to-day activities of this maternal health non-profit my primary duties were research, fact-checking, maintenance of social media accounts and database management, including accounts payable and receivable. During this time I worked on and off babysitting for some families in Bethesda, MD.
