I'm Heather. I've worked as a nanny and babysitter for 12 years now. I have certificates in childcare and some aquatics that I obtained from the redwoods group at the YMCA. I was homeschooled and graduated in 2014. Being homeschooled I was able to babysit full time and bring my school with me. I've watched kids ranging from days old to 13 years old. I worked on a therapy riding farm for kids with disabilities. There I was responsible for helping kids interact with the horses and taking care of the horses. I love animals. People say I have a gentle quiet spirit and a gift for children. I was the nursery coordinator for our church and was in charge of Sunday school music. I really love kids and finding new creative ways to entertain them. I love coming up with games or finding crafts to do with kids. I Read more mostly watched babies and young children. I worked in the after school program and was a substitute teacher for preschool-grade 4 at katahdin elementary school. I've worked in daycares, but mostly in homes. I recently moved which was hard, I was with the same families for 4 years. One since 2005. I still babysit for them when needed. My dream is to open an in home daycare someday. I like to make things fun, whether it's building a habitat for ladybugs and learning about them or simply building things with boxes or legos. Currently I'm working at subway but would love to get back to being a nanny. I have a written recommendations and all hard copies of my certificates. I also have them on pdf if you would like them.
