Meet Gretchen

I currently work in a child care center, as the lead "teacher" in the infant room, caring for babies ranging from 6 weeks to a year in age. I also have experience with waddler age children, from 1 to 2. These two age groups are my favorite because they grow and learn so fast and to be able to help and watch in the development is really rewarding. I am CPR, first aid certified thru the center. I also used to be a middle school basketball coach for the girls A and B teams for a couple years. As challenging that age is, I learned so much and really had a great experience. I have a baby sitting history with a few children in the neighborhood years ago and also with a former school in the town where I live. I have also been a camp counselor previously for several Read more years at a summer camp with children of various ages. I would describe myself as a laid back, fun loving person. Very calm and nurturing but upbeat when the mood calls for that. I am a mother of a 10 year old girl and that is by far the best job Ive ever had.
