I have spent a lot of time with children and find it rewarding to care for them. I babysat my neighbors, ages 1 and 3, throughout high school and have taken care of my four young cousins since they were born. I also helped out at a daycare for many summers and would do several activities with the kids such as crafts, playing games, taking walks and reading to them. Most recently, I was a nanny for two adolescent girls in Freeport. I am currently working in an AmeriCorps position with Cooking Matters in Portland. Prior to this I was working at Boston Children's Hospital and taking prerequisites for a Masters in Public Health Nutrition. I'm responsible, caring, love the outdoors and enjoy spending time with kids. I'm looking for a part-time and/or occasional position. My hours are flexible and I'm available on the weekends.
