I am currently a Service Member in FoodCorps, a national organization dedicated to connecting youth with hands on school garden, cooking, and nutrition education, as well as promoting a culture of health throughout some of the country's highest need schools. I have a lot of experience working with children and thoroughly enjoy my time facilitating lessons in some of Portland's elementary schools. I am looking for flexible, supplementary work as I continue with my year of service. I also have experience with pet sitting, primarily for dogs and cats, as well. Most recently I house-sat and dog-sat for a colleague while she was on vacation for a week. I am really attentive to detail and follow through on the overall structure you want that will fit your needs if you are taking a night out or taking a trip out of town!
