I have worked as a Child Care Aide Assistant in The Sharing Place daycare since December 2013 while in college. The daycare provides care to children from birth to age 5, but I mostly worked with the 3-5-year-olds. I assisted in maintaining classrooms with 10-20 children ages birth-4. Prepared meals and snacks, lead their activities, conducted games, settled disputes. I was a volunteer co-teacher in Mexico for a month in the summer of 2015, for the grades 1st-3rd. We managed the classrooms, lesson planned, and conducted fun activities. In all 4 years of high school I was a nanny/babysitter to two elementary and middle school aged children. I provided a safe environment several days every week. I prepared meals and snacks, supervised and organized their activities, played games, transported as needed and settled disputes, while the parents were working.
