Hi, my name is Evelyn. I am a married, 24 year old college graduate hoping to be your future babysitter. Since the age of twelve I have had the privilege of meeting many wonderful families as I have cared for their children. When I was fifteen I would often babysit for families that I knew through church as well as for my younger brother. Through high school and college I volunteered as a camp counselor in Eastern Pennsylvania where I was responsible for up to eight pre-teen and teenagers during a weeks time. In between college and work I babysat my three nephews. Throughout the years I have worked with all ages of children ranging from newborn babies all the way up to teenagers. I also have had prior experience with special needs like Down Syndrome, seeing impaired, physically impaired, ADD, and ADHD. In addition, I have also worked for families with Read more twins as well as larger families where I was responsible for many children (5 children; four of which under the age of 5). I was born and raised in South Jersey. After high school I attended the University of Maine for my undergraduate degree where I double majored in English and Sociology. In the next several years I am planning on further my education by attending law school. I would describe myself as a reliable and hard-working person. Through college I worked (sometimes up to 3 jobs at one time) and want to assure you I am a responsible person as well as someone you can trust with your children. Your child(ren) would be in good fun-loving hands while in my care. I know that you are expecting someone to maintain a level of boundaries and established routines, and I am more than capable of doing so.
