Hello there! I am a recent Ohio State University graduate. I graduated with a BA in English with an extensive list of classes taken from education, to psychology, to professional writing. I aspire to be a teacher or therapist one day (as soon as graduate school is attainable), as I love working with people and giving them the resources and support they need to see them succeed. I have assisted in several classrooms of varying age groups (first to seniors in high school) and grew up working with my mother who is a 4th grade teacher; spending over 100 hours a year in her classroom to help her. While in college I had an internship with the 2nd&7 Foundation that focuses primarily on first grade students at low income schools who deserve the opportunity and encouragement to read and understand the longterm benefits of an education. I graduated Magnum Cum Read more Laude (as I made Dean's List every semester in college), and when I was in high school I was top 10% of my class, a national honors society student, the secretary of my class, and the vice president of student council. I have never had a nannying job or babysitting (other than dogsitting), as my time with children have always been in academic settings while I have been bartending for work, but we all have to start somewhere!
