I am a mom of 13. I gave birth to five children and when my youngest was 3, my husband and I decided to do foster care. Instead of having more of our own children, we would give kids a home and a family for as long as they needed one. We ended up adopting five of our foster children that couldn't be returned to their parents and didn't have any family to take care of them. We moved to maine a year ago and decided to foster again. We had started the process when we got a phone call that two of our adopted kids have two siblings that just went into foster care. While in foster care, their parents passed away. We are in the process of adopting these two kids to keep them with their siblings. We are also raising my 16 year old nephew. My husband Read more is retired and works a couple of days a week. My kids are all in school. Being a mom has been my life. I had my own daycare in mass. when my older kids were little. Ive always worked with children and I thinik Im pretty good at it.
